Welcome to Tundavale
Tundavale is a forest region. The natives of this land, the Tundav colonists, are hardy folk who worship the Meregos. They tend to live in villages near the forest and gather food from their forest gardens. The most notable location in Tundavale is the city of Gullicgrove , named after its founder, the famous explorer Olaf Gullic. The city was built in the middle of a grove of trees, and has grown in a rough circle around the tree grove. It has come to be known as the “Tree City”. Gullicgrove is primarily a trading city, and many merchants come and go everyday. Naval trade has also made Gullicgrove a major dock for smaller ships carrying goods. Most of the population in this region is in Gullicgrove . There is little else to note about this region in terms of importance. The largest city in this region is Zimes. It’s mayor is Bain Zimme. The city is a hub for weapons sales, and its citizens are trained in combat. The city is much militarized and a weapon dealer will “take care of anyone who misbehaves”. Traders do not consider this region to be notable for anything in particular. The natives appear to be content with their lives. One merchant noted, “I’ve never seen a people so happy with their lot in life”. The region is known for the large lake—Lake Tundav—surrounding it. This is a particularly calm region for the most part, with little happening for those passing through it. As a result, the region is not a tourist destination. Those passing through this region are advised to keep an eye on their belongings, as there has been an increase in robberies lately. The region is known to have been settled by colonists from Myrillia, and hence one can find Meregos temples in the region.
